About Hamelton Software. Independent and in Iowa.

Independent ideas. Carefully considered tools. Browsers and Windows utilities designed around everyday work.

Who we are

Software with a point of view.

Hamelton Software is a product of Hamelton Brands LLC, based in Keokuk, Iowa. We design, build and support our applications ourselves.

Our work centers on software people use all day: a personal browser, a focused workspace, an organized font library and tools for storage verification. Each product has its own character, connected by an emphasis on useful features, considered interfaces and clear choices.

We develop in the open through clearly labeled previews and betas. Product pages distinguish current capabilities from work still in development, and feedback goes directly to the people shaping the software.

Our story

Elliot Software, now part of Hamelton Software.

We acquired Elliot Software and merged it into Hamelton Software. Elliot Software focused exclusively on web-based applications, WordPress plugins and custom CMS software. The two brands now come together under the Hamelton Software name.

How we work

Four commitments.

Local first data

Browsing data lives in a local profile on your computer. Sill ships with no account service and no analytics. Wayfarer accounts are optional and only add sync.

Purposeful tools

Each application has a clear role, from a personal browser to a focused workspace or an organized Windows font library.

Chromium compatibility

Both browsers run on the Chromium engine, so the sites you already use render the way you expect them to.

Plain about limits

Each product page lists what the current beta does not do yet, from unsigned builds to missing extension support.
