Sill is a portable Windows application. It runs on its own Chromium runtime and needs no separate Node.js installation.
Known limits of this beta
- Browser extensions are not supported.
- The beta ZIP is unsigned, so Windows may warn before it runs.
- Ad blocking is useful but does not claim to fully match a paid ad blocker.
- Updates are checked for automatically, but security updates are not installed automatically.

Does Sill collect analytics?
No. Sill has no account service and no analytics.
Where is my password data kept?
In a local encrypted vault on your computer, protected with Windows account encryption.
Can I install extensions?
Not in this beta. Extensions are not supported.
Why does Windows warn me when I run it?
The beta ZIP is not code signed yet. Download it only from sillbrowser.com.
Is there a Mac, Linux or mobile version?
Not at this time. Sill is built for Windows 10 and 11.
