Driver Watchdog: years in the making, a clearer workday ahead.

A refreshed custom platform brings delivery records, mileage, shifts, expenses, evidence, and local community tools together. Here is what works today and where the mobile apps are headed.

Driver Watchdog began with a practical concern: a delivery offer and its final payout do not always tell the same story. Keeping the original details, the received pay, and supporting evidence together makes it easier to understand a difference and follow up with a useful record.

After a couple of years of development, that idea has grown into a custom platform under Hamelton Software. The latest work gives drivers a more complete view of the business behind each trip.

A workspace built around the workday.

The refreshed dashboard brings recorded earnings, entered mileage, pay shortfalls, recent deliveries, and local updates into one place. Period filters help drivers review a month, the past 30 days, or their complete history. A guided introduction explains the available tools and the lowest plan that includes each feature.

Delivery records support offered and received base pay, tips, incentives, and referrals. Drivers can add their own mileage and notes, search their history, and export records for further review.

More dependable imports.

CSV imports now process in resumable batches, with duplicate checks and clearer results for invalid or conflicting rows. That matters when a driver brings in a larger delivery history: an interruption should not mean retyping the work or guessing what was saved.

Mileage, shifts, and expenses.

Manual mileage entry, shifts with odometer readings and breaks, and expense records are available on the web today. Shift miles and delivery miles remain separate to avoid counting the same distance twice. Expense records can be edited and exported.

Elite performance insights compare recorded work by platform, zone, day, and hour. They also show pay per recorded mile, pay per completed shift hour, entered expenses, and a separate vehicle-cost scenario. These figures depend on the completeness of the information a driver enters; they are not a direct connection to gig platform accounts or a verified tax calculation.

Keep evidence connected to the record.

Supporting files, pay-change history, follow-up notes, and review dates help drivers return to an issue with context. Available PDF reporting tools organize documented information for review and appropriate support follow-up. Pro payout matching lets drivers preview compatible CSV matches before applying changes.

A pay difference is a reason to check the details. Driver Watchdog does not establish misconduct or guarantee payment recovery.

A more useful local community.

Zone forums support local discussions and optional email updates. The improved report map places shared summaries by approximate delivery-zone location, with filters and accessible report details. Private evidence remains separate from public summaries.

Tools beyond the dashboard.

The digital shop now includes an Evidence & Follow-up Kit, a Mileage & Expense Workbook, and a free Shift Checklist. These standalone downloads complement the account tools and remain separate from subscription plans.

The public site also now uses actual product screenshots, captured with fictional sample records, to give drivers a clearer look before they sign up.

The mobile chapter.

Mobile development will build on existing Driver Watchdog accounts and records. The iOS direction remains part of the plan, and an Android app is also on the development roadmap. Neither native app has been publicly released, and no public release date has been announced.

Automatic GPS trip capture and offer-reading options are separate development work. The current web platform uses information drivers enter or import. We will describe tested capabilities clearly as the apps progress.

Available now on the web.

Drivers can explore the platform at DriverWatchdog.net and choose a plan that fits their work. Free provides a starting point; Driver, Pro, and Elite add progressively broader tools. The pricing page has current limits, billing options, and included features.
