Driver Watchdog mobile app development begins at Hamelton Software, with iOS first and Android planned after the iOS release.

Hamelton Software is beginning development of the Driver Watchdog app for iOS. The app will bring the established Driver Watchdog platform to iPhone through a native mobile experience, with an Android app planned after the iOS release.

A platform built over a couple of years.

Driver Watchdog has been in development for a couple of years, growing into a custom platform designed to help gig workers document problems, protect their income and keep useful records of their work. The mobile app builds on that ongoing work and the service at DriverWatchdog.net.

Your existing account, on your phone.

The iPhone app is being planned around integration with existing Driver Watchdog accounts and data. The goal is to give drivers a native way to use the platform from their phone, with connected records and familiar account access across the website and app.

Delivery records, pay discrepancies, incident documentation, evidence and reporting are central to the mobile direction. The app will carry the Driver Watchdog brand and be developed by Hamelton Software.

Mileage and profit tracking are coming.

Mileage and profit tracking are planned additions, extending Driver Watchdog beyond documenting problems to helping drivers understand the business side of their work. These tools are part of the development plan; final capabilities will be detailed as implementation and testing progress.

iOS first. Android follows.

The first mobile release will focus on iOS for iPhone. Android development is planned to follow after the iOS release. No public app release date has been announced. We will share progress and availability through Hamelton Software and Driver Watchdog as development continues.
