Introducing Hamelton FactSync: keep business facts consistent.

Our new WordPress plugin brings business facts into one library, finds saved outdated values and lets you review a precise correction before applying it. The first development preview includes a guided tour.

Development has begun on Hamelton FactSync, a WordPress plugin for keeping business information consistent across saved site content. Its first working build, 0.1.0, is a development preview running in our local Laragon WordPress testing installation.

One place for the facts your site repeats.

Phone numbers, addresses and prices often appear on more than one page. FactSync stores a current value alongside outdated values you confirm, then scans supported WordPress content for those older values. Price facts include context so a number can be reviewed in relation to the service it describes.

Discovered contact details begin as unconfirmed candidates. You decide which facts belong in the library and which value is current.

Review the correction before applying it.

A finding leads to a preview of the exact saved text and its proposed replacement. Applying a correction checks that the content still matches the preview. Protected undo checks the resulting content before restoring the earlier version, helping avoid overwriting edits made afterward.

For new content, a dynamic FactSync block and shortcode can display a library value, reducing the number of separately maintained copies.

A guided start.

A five-step guided tour introduces the fact library, scanning, findings, correction previews and reusable facts. The interface explains each step in plain language, with coverage information visible alongside the report.

What the preview has been tested to do.

The build passed 26 integration checks and five security checks against its actual request handlers, followed by browser checks of the guided tour, correction and undo workflow, and block editor. Reports and facts stay in the WordPress database; the preview uses no external scanning service or telemetry.

Current scanning matches saved values you have confirmed as outdated. It does not decide whether an arbitrary claim is true. Elementor metadata, custom fields, HTML attributes and link destinations, theme files, generated content and text split across HTML elements are outside this preview’s coverage.

Development continues.

FactSync is not yet available for public purchase or download. Commercial licensing, broader compatibility testing and release preparation remain ahead. No price or public release date has been announced. Follow the product page and documentation for the supported workflow and current development status.
